To ensure longevity of your new Gel nails please follow the advice below :

 

Use Cuticle Oil daily to keep your nails hydrated.

Do not swim or go into a sauna in the first 24hrs.

Do not use your nails as tools.

Do not pick your nails, if you need to file a nail due to catching it then gently file the minimal amount and apply a regular topcoat to help seal the nail until your next appointment.

Keep regular appointments every 2-3 weeks to maintain healthy nails.

Wear gloves for housework and gardening, as well as outdoors in the cold weather.

Be careful with foods that can stain (eg curry).

 

**With the frequent use of Sanitiser and increased handwashing our hands are drier than ever. This can in turn affect our nails due them becoming dehydrated and therefore brittle. If this happens Gel Polish is likely to chip more frequently, so to prevent this it is vital that Cuticle Oil is used up to twice a day and frequent handcream applied. Also gloves are more important than ever. It is recommended to wear disposable gloves instead of continued hand washing**

Having always had terribly weak nails, I never bothered with Manicures. However, as a treat before holiday, I booked Lorna for a Gel Manicure. I could not believe how great my nails looked and how long the Gel lasted. That was about 5 years ago and I've had regular Gel treatments (along with an Eyebrow Shape) ever since! I love that my nails always look polished and presentable with very little effort on my part. Lorna is 100% professional and reliable and I couldn't recommend her more highly.
